Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult split
After two years of dating, Jennifer Lawrence and Nick Hoult have split.
“In Touch” reports, however, that the breakup is amicable.
The “Hunger Games” actress and the “About a Boy” star met on the set of “X Men” in 2010, and enjoyed a mostly under-the-radar relationship ever since.
“He’s my favorite person to be around and makes me laugh harder than anybody,” Lawrence, 22, told Elle back just weeks ago in the Dec. 2012 issue.
But as she filmed “Catching Fire” alone in Hawaii, only her brother, Blaine, was by her side. Hoult, 23, is meanwhile gearing up to do publicity for his own film, “Warm Bodies,” which comes out in February. And when he skipped the People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday, where Lawrence won “Favorite Movie Actress,” “Favorite Face of Heroism,” and “Favorite On-Screen Chemistry,” the writing was on the wall.
With her “Silver Linings Playbook” co-star Bradley Cooper recently single as well, however, Lawrence isn’t likely to be lonely on the red carpet the rest of awards season.
