Bethenny Frankel divorce – Jason Hoppy files aggressive counter-suit: report

Emotions seemed to have soured between Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy.

Three weeks after the Skinnygirl mogul filed for divorce from her pharmaceutical exec husband, he has now counter-filed with papers of his own that mirrors Frankel’s demands, according to TMZ.

Hoppy is allegedly disputing nearly every detail from Frankel’s filing, including primary custody of their 2-year-old daughter Bryn.

And just like the reality star, Hoppy allegedly wants child support for Bryn, and medical and dental expenses for himself and their child.

He seeks “exclusive use and occupancy of the marital residence” of their $5 million SoHo loft, a detail similar to Frankel’s.

He also wants Frankel to maintain life insurance on herself, making him and Bryn beneficiaries.

Lastly, TMZ reports, Hoppy requests that the ex-“Real Housewife” pays his lawyer and accountant.

It appears that Frankel’s estimated $100 million fortune is not at stake, but considering the demands from both sides, the divorce battle could turn ugly.

Frankel opened up to Ellen DeGeneres about her surprise divorce with Hoppy.

“I feel like a failure,” Frankel said early January. “I really put it out there. I wanted the fairytale. I thought I had it.”

However, she may have found a shoulder to cry on. According to multiple reports, Frankel has been getting close to billionaire pal Warren Lichtenstein.
