Zoe Saldana marries artist Marco Perego

Zoe Saldana married her boyfriend of a few months Marco Perego secretly in July, sources have confirmed to Page Six.

The “Avatar” beauty married handsome artist Perego at a secret location a few hours outside London, near where she is filming new Marvel movie “Guardians of the Galaxy”.

A source told us, “It was a very small and intimate ceremony. They are very much in love.”

Page Six revealed The Blood Ties actress and long-haired Perego had started dating in mid-May when they were spotted kissing after Saldana’s “Star Trek Into Darkness premiere in L.A”

It is believed the couple, both 34, had known each other for a few years after meeting in New York, where Zoe was raised and where Italian-born Perego – known as the ‘Pirate Perego’ because of his resemblance to Johnny Depp – started his career in art.

Saldana is currently filming at Shepperton Studios in Middlesex, which is west of London, and it is believed the couple found a romantic location for their wedding nearby.

A spokesman for Saldana today said, “We do not comment on our clients’ personal lives.”
