Cocaine seized at Bieber’s house; pal arrested
One of Justin Bieber’s entourage has been arrested for cocaine possession at the singer’s house after a raid by police.
Lil Za was arrested for felony drug possession Tuesday after police entered the house following a recent egg attack on Bieber’s next door neighbor.
Cocaine “was in plain view of the deputies” in one room of the mansion as investigators searched for evidence that could tie Bieber to the egg vandalism, said Lt. David Thompson.
Bieber, who was in the mansion garage at the time, was not arrested, cops said. There about seven or eight of Bieber’s associates in the mansion at the time.
Bieber allegedly launched an egg assault on his neighbor’s home on Jan. 9, causing an estimated $20k in damage.
About eight L.A. County Sheriff’s department patrol cars were in front of Bieber’s house early Tuesday morning with a felony search warrant to enter the home.
A source close to Justin told us before Lil Za’s arrest: “This is a search warrant, not an arrest warrant, over an egg.
“The police are searching his house for anything they can find, including similar eggs.
“How an egg could cause that level of damage is incomprehensible.
“Justin’s camp believe he is being unfairly targeted by the police.”
Cops said the raid and arrest may reform Bieber, who has been accused by neighbors of holding late-night parties and speeding through the gated community. “Hopefully the gravity of this will change his behavior,” Thompson said at a press conference.
