Leonardo DiCaprio accosted by serial crotch grabber

Maybe it was the cologne?

A seemingly crazed fan went where many models have gone before, and grabbed Leonardo DiCaprio’s crotch at the Santa Barbara Film Festival Thursday night as “The Wolf of Wall Street” star arrived to accept an award with Martin Scorsese.

Just a day before, DiCaprio was spotted in New York ducking into a store in the Village to pick up some cologne.

“He was with a group of guys — though the fellows waited outside while Leo went into L’Occitane on Bleecker Street and bought cologne, lip balm and face cream.” We hear the fragrance was “Verdon.”

The stuff seemed to work: Sweet-smelling Leo was jumped on by the male admirer who was hauled off by security. Turns out the crotch-grabber was Vitalii Sediuk, a Ukrainian TV host who has pulled similar pranks on Bradley Cooper and Will Smith, who slapped him at a Moscow premiere.

Leo looked amused by the stunt. Later onstage, he recalled that Steven Spielberg dropped by “The Wolf of Wall Street” set and “the whole cast were [bleeping] their pants.”
