Brad Pitt wasn’t the only one who got more than they were expecting during his red carpet attack. His assailant did as well.

The “Money Ball” star, 50, told People he got in two shots at Ukrainian prankster Vitalii Sediuk during their altercation on the “Maleficent” red carpet last week.

“I was at the end of the line signing autographs, when out of the corner of my eye I saw someone stage-diving over the barrier at me,” the actor said in a statement to the magazine. “I took a step back; this guy had latched onto my lapels. I looked down and the nutter was trying to bury his face in my crotch, so I cracked him twice in the back of the head — not too hard — but enough to get his attention, because he did let go. I think he was then just grabbing for a hand hold because the guys were on him, and he reached up and caught my glasses.”

“I don’t mind an exhibitionist, but if this guy keeps it up, he’s going to spoil it for the fans who have waited up all night for an autograph or a selfie, because it will make people more wary to approach a crowd,” he added. “And he should know, if he tries to look up a woman’s dress again, he’s going to get stomped.”

Pitt was accompanying fiancée Angelina Jolie to the Hollywood premiere of her latest film when he was accosted, and struck in the face, by Sediuk last Wednesday.

The 25-year-old pleaded no contest to battery charges on Friday, but received no jail time.

Despite the attack, Jolie, 38, says she and Pitt don’t see any reason to increase their security team.

“People like that are an exception to the rule,” the actress said while promoting the film in Shanghai. “Most fans are just wonderful.”
