Blake Lively pulls a Paltrow with lifestyle website launch
Goop, there it is!
Following in the footsteps of actress-turned-lifestyle guru Gwyneth Paltrow, Blake Lively launched her website Preserve on Monday.
“The function of Preserve is part magazine, part e-commerce hub, part philanthropic endeavor and above all, a place to showcase the power of imagination, ingenuity, quality and above all, people,” Lively, 26, wrote in her welcome message.
“I’m more intimidated than I should probably admit,” she continued. “I’m no editor, no artisan, no expert. And certainly no arbiter of what you should buy, wear, or eat.”
She added that Preserve is composed of “people, stories, essays, videos and goods which hopefully inspire your home, your style and your tongue. There’s expensive stuff. Inexpensive stuff. And everything in between. But their value, is up to you. We may romanticize it, calling it treasure. What we’re really saying is, we see worth on every level.”
The site currently offers a myriad of food products from summer smoke salt and vegan hot fudge to a dainty berry bowl. A number of fashion and home decor items are also listed.
Prices range from $7 to $2,000.
