Justin Bieber strips after being booed

Justin Bieber is desperate for your approval.

The troubled pop star, 20, was booed at Tuesday night’s Fashion Rocks charity event at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, reports E! News.

Bieber appeared on stage with model Lara Stone to introduce Rita Ora when the crowd voiced its distaste for the singer. To turn those boos into cheers, Bieber stripped down to his black Calvin Klein briefs — eliciting applause and a flurry of tweets about the singer’s body.

Piece by piece, Selena Gomez‘s on-again, off-again love took off his blazer, pants, shoes, socks and tank top, then said to the crowd, “Is that better?”

“Grandma always said kill ’em with kindness … and then strip on live national TV. Lol,” he captioned a short Vine video of the striptease.

He later tweeted his appreciation.
