Cameron Diaz is ‘not looking for a husband’

Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden’s relationship may be heating up, but Hollywood’s most famous bachelorette isn’t rushing a trip down the aisle.

“I’m not looking for a husband or marriage or not not looking for that stuff,” the 42-year-old actress said in the November issue of Marie Claire.

“I’m living, not thinking what I should or shouldn’t be doing with my life,” said Diaz, who has famously said that she doesn’t believe in monogamy.

The “Sex Tape” star’s relationship with Madden, 35, is moving full steam ahead. The Good Charlotte rocker reportedly moved into her Beverly Hills home over the summer.

Keenly aware of the societal pressures to have kids, Diaz says she’s not giving in to the chatter.

“We live in a society where everyone has kids, so they want other people to have kids,” she said. “There is this culture that says celebrities are supposed to be just like us, so people think, ‘I have children, why doesn’t she?’ But I’m not going to do something because it’s expected.”

But Diaz says that if a family comes to her, she’ll gladly play the role of mom.

“If children come to me, then I would do that, but I’m not someone who feels like she has to do something because it’s expected,” she explained.
