Britney Spears makes $1 million a week in Vegas

Las Vegas and Britney Spears are a match made in heaven.

The “Toxic” singer has gotten a raise from $310,000 a show to $475,000 a show for her residency, putting her just a thousand bucks a concert behind Sin City’s top moneymaker, Celine Dion, TMZ reports.

Spears’ camp renegotiated her contract 50 shows into her record-breaking residency at Planet Hollywood. Her original contract was worth $29.76 million, the website reports.

The 32-year-old will be performing a total of 140 shows over two years at Planet Hollywood versus the 96 she was allotted before.

In total, including her side projects, sources told TMZ that Spears is getting around $1 million deposited in her account weekly.

Spears and Dion have new competition, though, as it was revealed on Wednesday morning that Jennifer Lopez is about to sign a two-year, $26.3 million residency deal in Vegas. But J.Lo would only be earning $350,000 a show — $125,000 less per concert than Spears makes.
