Taylor Swift can add godmother to her ever-growing list of titles.
The 25-year-old pop star was chosen by pregnant pal Jaime King to be her second child‘s godmother.
The singer shared the news with a photo of herself rubbing the 35-year-old actress’ bare belly.
“Guess who just got named Godmother of this little one… (ME),” the Grammy winner captioned the image.
In another photo, also showing off King’s bare baby bump, Swift gazes with joy and excitement at her friend. “And @TaylorSwift will forever be looking over our new baby @Kyle_Newman—we all love you!!!!Xx,” read the caption of King’s photo.
The “Hart of Dixie” star, who has been open about past fertility struggles, announced earlier this month that she and husband Kyle Newman are expecting baby No. 2.
In other Swift news, the “1989” singer is staying mum on her reported rivalry with fellow pop queen Katy Perry.
“I’m not giving [the media] anything to write about,” Swift told the Telegraph shortly before the Grammys. “… I’m never going to talk about [Perry] in my interview. It’s not going to happen.”
Swift and Perry’s feud has been bubbling over for months. Their bitter bickering started over John Mayer, Page Six reported in September.
Swift’s song “Bad Blood” is about an unnamed pop rival, whom Swift dubbed a “straight-up” enemy in a fall interview with Rolling Stone. After the story came out, Perry, 30, set the Internet on fire when she tweeted, “Watch out for Regina George in sheep’s clothing,” referring to the title mean girl in the movie “Mean Girls.”
