Kris says Kourtney and Scott will ‘figure it out’
Kris Jenner still holds out hope for Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick.
The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch, 59, recently sat down for an interview with “Access Hollywood’s” Billy Bush, and said that she considers her daughter’s ex to be “like my son.”
“He came over yesterday,” Jenner said in the interview. “He was on his way over to see the kids. He’s a great dad. They’ve got things to figure out.”
Kardashian, 36, put an end to the couple’s rocky nine-year relationship in July, just days after pictures surfaced of Disick, 32, getting awfully handsy with another woman.
Despite the very public breakup, Jenner doesn’t necessarily feel like the couple’s story is over yet. But that doesn’t mean she’s about to tell her daughter to get back together with her wayward ex, who is the father of the pair’s three children.
“I don’t tell her things like that because I don’t think that’s my place, but my kids were brought up to be very forgiving people,” she said. “My wish is that, you know, they work it out and figure it out and we’ll see what happens.”
As for Disick’s increasingly public struggle with substance abuse, Jenner said it doesn’t change her opinion of the person she knows he is.
“You know what? I don’t see that side, so I don’t want to talk about what I don’t know. I just know that, you know, they’ll figure it out. He’s a great dad and he loves the kids and he loves Kourtney,” she said before adding, “I love him.”
