Kaley Cuoco opens up about ‘rough’ split from Ryan Sweeting

Kaley Cuoco‘s ill-fated marriage to Ryan Sweeting left more than a few scars.

“Last year was very bizarre and we all go through really weird ups and downs,” Cuoco told Ellen DeGeneres on Tuesday. “And sometimes I’m a little bit more seen. And everyone goes through that.”

Sweeting, 28, popped the question to Cuoco, 30, after three months of dating, before they swapped vows on New Year’s Eve in 2013. The pair pulled the plug on their 18-month marriage last fall. And while Cuoco hasn’t finalized the divorce just yet, she’s already expunged the memory of Sweeting from her body.

“I had the date tattooed on my back and everything to remind me. Don’t tattoo a wedding date,” she advised.

Now rocking a fresh set of butterfly wings on her back, Cuoco isn’t letting her highly publicized split from Sweeting get her down.

“I already feel like 2016 is going to be a better year than 2015. And you know, it’s been rough, but things are going good. I’m much, much better now. I’m in a much better place than I was,” she added.
