Former ‘Bachelorette’ Desiree Hartstock is pregnant
Mom’s the word for Desiree Hartstock.
On Wednesday, the “Bachelorette” beauty announced that she and husband Chris Siegfried are expecting their first child.
“We have a bun in the oven and it’s not the warm and pastry kind,” she wrote on Instagram. “We are beyond excited to share that we have a little one on the way!! A new chapter we are both looking forward to.”
Hartstock, 30, who met Siegfried, also 30, on Season 9 of ABC’s long-running reality series, tied the knot last year in Palos Verdes, Calif.
Former “Bachelor” couple Sean and Catherine Lowe — who are expecting their first baby in July — also weighed in on Desiree’s big news, congratulating the expectant mother.
Catherine also dished out some advice for Hartstock to “be present.”
“I think what I’ve really been excited to do right now with Sean is taking this time to be married and to experience this, not for the last time, but this is going to be us two for the last time,” she told us at a Dreft-sponsored baby shower on Wednesday. “Just being us and seeing that last kind of exciting togetherness that we’re going to get to have before having the baby.”
