Kim and Kanye threaten to sue blabbing bodyguard
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are threatening a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against their former bodyguard who branded the rapper a megalomaniacal control freak.
Former NYPD cop Steve Stanulis slammed West in an interview, saying he was such a spoiled superstar that he refused to press elevator buttons and made crazy demands, including that staff not speak in his presence.
Now West is hitting back, branding Stanulis a “parasitic maniac.”
A spokesperson for West and Kardashian said, “The West Family will no longer tolerate the spreading and selling of fake stories in a desperate, transparent and shameless attempt for publicity at their expense. This sad, parasitic maniac has violated every basic human tenet of decency with his story of lies. As such, the Wests will explore all legal means at their disposal to silence this nonsense.”
A rep for West said the guard was hired to work with Kanye and wife Kim Kardashian on only a few occasions by their security company.
In an interview with The Sun, Stanulis, whose past clients include Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire, said, “I had to look after his toddler daughter once and it was so much easier than babysitting the father.”
West fired Stanulis, who worked for the couple for around two weeks, on the night of the Met Gala earlier this month, when he saw Stanulis standing in a hallway with Kardashian and thought he was flirting with the reality star.
“He is the most condescending person I have ever met,” Stanulis said.
