Calvin Harris ‘hurt’ by Taylor Swift’s quick rebound
Friends of Taylor Swift’s ex Calvin Harris told Page Six the jilted DJ is peeved at how she’s been flaunting her new “relationship” with actor Tom Hiddleston.
“He’s not happy about their relationship. He was hurt. Looking back, some friends do feel like Taylor’s team manipulated and orchestrated part of [her] relationship [with Calvin] after seeing how public she is with her new guy. It makes sense,” a source said.
Critics of cloyingly smitten couple Swift and Hiddleston are calling their relationship a p.r. stunt after every smooch and hand-hold seems to be a photo op complete with fashion credits blasted out by brands.
“I wouldn’t put it past her. That’s what they do. It’s obvious,” the source close to Harris said of Swift’s highly publicized relationship.
Harris’ new breakup song, “Ole,” with singer John Newman, seems to be an ode to Swift. Lyrics include: “I see online/That you’ve begun to be a good girl/And take trips with your boyfriend/Being attentive/Continue to pretend.”
“Calvin always speaks the truth,” said the pal. Harris’ rep didn’t get back to us.
