Kate Beckinsale’s husband files for divorce

Another Hollywood couple is calling it quits.

Kate Beckinsale’s husband, the writer and producer Len Wiseman, has filed for divorce from the beautiful actress, citing irreconcilable differences.

The pair have been separated since last year, when Wiseman was spotted spending time with model and hairdresser CJ Franco — 18 years his junior — without his wedding ring, while Beckinsale was filming her upcoming movie “Underworld: Blood Wars” overseas. She was also seen without her wedding band at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards in London last year.

Wiseman produced the new “Underworld” film, and he directed Beckinsale in the franchise’s first two movies — “Underworld” in 2003, when he first met Beckinsale, and “Underworld: Evolution” in 2006.

The pair, who married in 2004 and have no children, have reportedly waived spousal support, according to TMZ.

Beckinsale has a daughter, Lily, from a past relationship with British actor Michael Sheen, with whom she was in a relationship for eight years. A rep for Beckinsale did not comment.
