Yeezy has a new ‘do!
Kanye West made his first public appearance on Thursday since his much-publicized meltdown last month — sporting a longer, bleach-blond hairstyle at an LA art installation.
The “Life of Pablo” rapper reportedly resurfaced at the “Rick Owens: Furniture” exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art’s Pacific Design Center space in West Hollywood and appeared to be in good health.
A photo posted to Instagram, and later taken down, by Italian artist and friend Giovanni Bassan shows West lounging in an ivory colored chair with his hands folded together in front of him. He can be seen wearing a plain, gray sweatshirt and black jeans, along with white trainers.
“K’s in da house,” the description reads.
The picture marks the first time West has appeared in public since he was hospitalized on Nov. 21 for exhaustion and sleep deprivation.
The rap mogul allegedly had a breakdown at his trainer’s house and was forced to stay in UCLA’s Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital for eight days.
He later canceled the rest of his 2016 tour dates, sparking anger from fans.
West’s close friend Fonzworth Bentley recently said that the rapper-turned-fashion designer was still seething over the death of his mother — who passed away from plastic surgery complications in 2007.
“He never mourned his mother, and that’s at the root of this, and you don’t have to be a clinical psychologist to figure that out,” he said. “That is at the core of this. I think a lot of these things are coming up and coming out now.”
