Nick Cannon to make first appearance since quitting ‘AGT’

Making his first appearance since dramatically quitting as the host of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” Nick Cannon is set to be a guest on Amazon’s Style Code Live on Thursday.
The comedian/rapper/actor/record producer told hosts Rachel Smith and Frankie Grande about his newfound fondness for turbans.
Cannon, who wore a custom gem-encrusted turban with the show’s initials emblazoned on it for the occasion, said, “I wear it as a badge of honor to create those conversations amongst the youth and to tell them, we’re all different- we need to embrace and love our differences.”
The star also discussed his recent stay in hospital for complications related to lupus.
“During Christmas, I had a scare — I took too many meds in me and I had to have 5 blood transfusions,” he said, “Now I went from 33 pills a day down to 3 pills a day and I’m trying to be as holistic as possible”
Cannon quit his job on “AGT” over social media on Monday after a run-in with NBC over a joke he made during a Showtime stand-up special.
