Jennifer Lopez’s son wishes she wore pants more
When your mom is Jennifer Lopez, some unlikely questions might arise.
“You know what Max said to me the other day,” the 47-year-old performer recalled during a Build Series talk Thursday, “He said ‘Mommy, why don’t you wear pants in your show? You should wear pants more.’”
Lopez said the conversation with her 9-year-old was sparked by her Las Vegas residency costumes, and even she admitted, “I’m covered in crystals.”
The actress’ sister and ABC reporter Lynda Lopez, who moderated the talk, said, “That’s why I love that boy,” in response to Max’s curiosity.
But to answer his question, Jennifer’s answer was simple. “I was like, ‘Baby, c’mon, Mommy’s [a] showgirl.'”
Her son Max is twin brother to Emme. Their father is Marc Anthony, who was married to the star from 2004 to 2014.
Her “Shades of Blue” co-star Ray Liotta joined her for the chat and mentioned he went to the opening night of her “All I Have” Vegas show.
“It was great,” he said when asked what he thought of the performance. “I ask her to turn around and do that little thing,” he added as he shook in his chair.
“He was like, ‘Who is that?'” Lopez added, explaining that Liotta only knew her NBC character, Harlee, and not her sexy on-stage persona.
