J.Lo doesn’t mind the ‘J-Rod’ moniker

Even after being one half of the infamous “Bennifer,” Jennifer Lopez doesn’t mind “J-Rod,” her portmanteau couple name with Alex Rodriguez.

“It’s fine,” Lopez, 47, told Entertainment Tonight with a giggle on Thursday at the Billboard Latin Music Awards. “We kind of thought that might happen because people who knew us were already doing it, so it’s not like you guys were original!”

The “Mírate” singer also revealed that Rodriguez, 41, is a big supporter of her music, including her most recent projects that are still in the works.

“He has [heard my new music]! He loves it. I’m so excited, you know? Every time I finish something, I bring it home and I want him to hear it,” she said. “He’s so supportive. He’s such a supportive person and he’s so lovely.”
