Jaime Pressly ‘shocked’ to be pregnant with twin boys

Bump’s the word for Jaime Pressly.

The 39-year-old actress confirmed to People she and boyfriend Hamzi Hijazi are expecting twin boys this fall.

“Twins don’t run on either side of our families so we were completely shocked,” Pressly told the magazine. “This wasn’t IVF or anything like that. It was just a shock, and I’m like, ‘Doctor, that’s impossible!'”

Pressly also revealed she and Hijazi had been trying to conceive “for quite a while.”

“I’ve always wanted three kids and the older I’m getting, I’m like, ‘Okay, maybe just one more would be nice,'” Pressly explained. “I was getting a little sad, but it was like, ‘We’ll give you two in one. You don’t have to do another pregnancy.”

Though the babies won’t arrive until later this year, Pressly said son Dezi James, 10, whom she shares with former fiancé Eric Calvo, is ready for big brother duty.

“He’s been begging Hamzi and I to give him a sibling since he was in kindergarten. He’s very patient and sweet and gentle and is going to be the best babysitter ever. He’s constantly kissing my belly,” she said.

Pressly has been dating Hijazi, 38, since 2011.
