Ryan Lochte and fiancée welcome a baby boy

Ryan Lochte is a dad.

The disgraced Olympic swimmer and his fiancée, Kayla Rae Reid, welcomed a baby boy named Caiden Zane Lochte at 5:46 a.m. Thursday, Lochte’s rep confirmed to Page Six. This is the couple’s first child.

Lochte, 32, and Reid, 25, announced they were expecting in December, two months after breaking the news of their engagement.

“My Christmas gift came early this year, can’t wait for next year! Best news I’ve ever received,” he captioned the image of himself kissing Reid’s belly underwater.

Reid confirmed the surprise news on social media, writing, “Just when you think you have it all figured out, life always surprises you with blessings when least expect it. So excited to share this news with all of you! ❤️👶🏼😊
#weareprego #omg #2017.”

The couple reportedly started dating in March 2016.
