Lea Michele remembers Cory Monteith four years after his death
Four years after his untimely passing, Lea Michele honored former boyfriend and “Glee” co-star Cory Monteith with a heartfelt social media post.
“Hard to believe it’s been 4 years…,” she wrote on Thursday alongside a close-up of herself in his “Glee” jacket holding a touching black-and-white photo of the two of them together.
She added, “We miss you C… love you more.”
Monteith passed away after overdosing on heroin and alcohol on July 13, 2013 in his Vancouver hotel room. He was 31.
The actor was open about his battle against drug addiction. A few months before he died, Monteith entered rehab.
“I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this,” Michele told People at the time. “I am grateful and proud he made this decision.”
Michele, now 30, and Monteith first met on the set of “Glee” and dated from 2012 up until the time of his passing.
