Chris Martin still hangs with ex-mother-in-law Blythe Danner

Chris Martin is even close with his ex-mother-in-law. The Coldplay rocker, who divorced — err, “consciously uncoupled” from — Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted on a date with Paltrow’s mom, Blythe Danner, in the Hamptons on Tuesday.

A spy said Martin and Danner “joined Hilaria Baldwin at Guild Hall in her box at a sold-out staged reading of the comedy ‘Gross Points’ by Ira Lewis, starring Alec Baldwin.”

Baldwin starred in the original production in 2001. Danner has said of Martin and Paltrow, “They’ve made it work.”
