Mariah Carey throws a VIP pajama party

Mariah Carey threw a pajama party Sunday at the Dream Hotel, the night after her Madison Square Garden show with Lionel Richie.

“It was a relaxing night with an intimate group of girlfriends,” said a spy. “They chomped on popcorn and sipped Champagne while enjoying a private screening of ‘Girls Trip.’ ”

The insider added, “They all went shopping earlier in the day to get fun PJs.”

The diva spent Monday at some batting cages with her son Moroccan. “Day off in NYC!!!” she captioned an Instagram pic.
