The alleged mastermind behind Kim Kardashian’s infamous $10 million Parisian robbery in October 2016 is apologizing.

“After observing your emotion and realizing the psychological damages I inflicted … I decided to write to you, not to obtain from you some sort of indulgence,” Aomar Ait Khedache wrote in French in a letter, reports TMZ.

The handwritten note was given to the French judge overseeing the case and forwarded to Kardashian’s attorneys.

He claims to have seen some of 36-year-old’s tearful retelling of that awful night on television. She’s discussed it at length on multiple media outlets including her own show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” During the robbery, Kardashian was feared she’d be raped before masked men made off with her jewelry.

“Know that I fully sympathize with the pain you are enduring, your children, your husband, and your close ones,” Khedache added. “I hope that this letter will allow you to forget little by little the trauma that you suffered by my fault.”

Khedache is one of 10 people charged in the robbery and it’s unclear when his trial will begin.

A request for comment from Kardashian’s rep wasn’t immediately returned.
