How Donald Trump struck out with Brooke Shields

One deal the commander-in-chief never sealed: a date with Brooke Shields.

On Tuesday, the 52-year-old actress revealed she once turned down Donald Trump‘s advances, during an appearance on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”

“I was on location doing a movie, and he called me right after he had gotten a divorce [from second wife Marla Maples] and said, ‘I really think we should date because you’re America’s Sweetheart and I’m America’s richest man and the people would love it,'” Shields recalled.

The actress then told Trump — now 70 and president of the United States — “I have a boyfriend and he’s not going to be happy about it.”

Trump split from Maples, 53, in 1996, though their divorce wasn’t finalized until three years later. Shields wed tennis legend Andrea Agassi in 1997, before pulling the plug on their union in 1999.

Though Trump struck out with Shields, he did score a dinner date with former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kim Richards.
