Mariah Carey and her manager have split
The dramatic and controversial relationship between Mariah Carey and her manager Stella Bulochnikov is over, Page Six has learned.
Bulochnikov — who oversaw the launch of Carey’s reality TV career and her infamous New Years Eve concert debacle — was notably absent on Carey’s recent visit to New York.
On Saturday, Bulochnikov told Page Six in a statement on behalf of both women, “After working together for almost three years, Mariah Carey and Stella Bulochnikov have determined that it is in their mutual best interest to part ways on day-to-day management.”
“During their time working together, they have accomplished great things, including, most recently, Mariah Carey’s new music and motion picture projects for this upcoming holiday season. Mariah Carey and Stella Bulochnikov remain partners in a number of business ventures, and will continue to support each other in those endeavors.”
Former TV producer Bulochnikov took Carey’s career in a dramatic and surprising new direction, launching E! reality show “Mariah’s World.”
She was also involved in the chaotic and embarrassing New Years Eve 2017 live TV performance that Carey was still fuming about months later.
Carey — who was famously managed by ex-husband Tommy Mottola — has recently released a holiday record, “The Star.”
