Jill Zarin heads to Florida while Bobby rests at home

Jill Zarin is spending the holidays in Florida while her husband, Bobby Zarin, rests at home in New York.

“I [am] so sad Bobby couldn’t come down but hope to come in a few weeks if he improves,” she wrote in a Christmas Day Instagram post. “Bobby is home with family and nurses and Support.”

She added that 71-year-old Bobby “feels great today.”

Jill, 54, told fans over the summer that Bobby’s battle with cancer had sadly taken an “unexpected turn … But he is not going down without a fight.”

Last month, the former “Real Housewives of New York City” star shared an update on his condition via Instagram, writing: “When Bobby always said to me ‘cherish the moment’ I never knew the power of that message until now. We continue the fight against Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer everyday and to astound his doctors with the strength and determination to defy all odds.”

While in Florida, Jill is partaking in some annual holiday traditions. “Last night we all ate Chinese food then went to the movies. What else do jewish people do Christmas Eve?” she joked. She is also celebrating her parents’ 60th wedding anniversary. “From Brooklyn to Boca!” she wrote.
