Mariah Carey won’t take Christmas tree down til Fourth of July

They don’t call Mariah Carey the Queen of Christmas for nothing.

In response to a tweet from Ryan Seacrest, she revealed that she won’t take down her Christmas decor until the summer.

“When is it appropriate to take down your Christmas tree and decorations? Asking for a friend,” Seacrest tweeted on Thursday.

Putting aside any tension that was sparked by Carey’s disastrous New Year’s Eve performance during Seacrest’s special in 2016, the “All I Want for Christmas Is You” crooner chimed in with her holiday advice.

“Dahhling! Not till July 4th!” she wrote.

Carey will be taking the stage again for the televised New Year’s Eve celebration despite last year’s flop.

This year, the singer will reportedly be equipped with the theatrics of her Las Vegas residency in what is predicted to be a “redemptive” performance for the diva upon announcement.
