Bruce Weber denies sexual harassment allegations
Fashion photographer Bruce Weber is addressing sexual harassment allegations after a male model sued him last year, claiming Weber forced him to rub his own genitals and put his fingers in Weber’s mouth.
“I unequivocally deny these charges and will vigorously defend myself,” Weber wrote in a statement on social media Wednesday. “I have spent my career capturing the human spirit through photographs and am confident that, in due time, the truth will prevail.”
He added, “I am grateful for the outpouring of support I have received.”
The model, Jason Boyce, claims the incident occurred in December 2014 at Weber’s Manhattan studio. Boyce also alleges Weber grabbed him and kissed him on the lips before he left.
A second male model, Mark Ricketson, came forward shortly after with similar allegations from 13 years ago.
In December, Vanity Fair canceled an Art Basel Miami Beach event with Weber.
However, model Andrew Ashton came to the photographer’s defense, exclusively telling Page Six last month that he was “nothing but professional” when they worked together.
