Britney Spears signs a new Las Vegas residency deal

Britney Spears has reportedly signed a deal for a new Las Vegas residency in 2019 just weeks after completing her last run in the city.

The 36-year-old pop star is said to be returning to the stage for a brand new residency at Las Vegas’ Park Theater, inside the Monte Carlo resort, shortly after Lady Gaga completes her residency there.

According to Us Weekly, the star has become accustomed to staying in one area, allowing her more family time with her two sons, Preston, 12, and Jayden, 11.

The source said: “They are really trying to compete with some of the more established venues in Las Vegas.

“They made the offer and she just couldn’t refuse. She loves Vegas!”

It appears that 2018 could be a phenomenal year for the star, who has been spending time in Hawaii after rounding up a four-year residency at the end of 2017.

The “Toxic” hitmaker ended her residency with a show-stopping, sexually charged performance involving over nine costume changes.

The superstar delighted fans with her final gig at the AXIS, Planet Hollywood, as she cavorted about in a variety of sexy lingerie-style get-ups — with her trademark wireless microphone in pride of place.

Original pop icon Spears certainly set the bar high for the next big star to be getting a Vegas residency — Lady Gaga.

She is also rumored to have gotten engaged to her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, 23, after being spotted sporting a diamond sparkler.

The singer and Asghari have been dating for over a year after meeting on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video back in November 2016.

Spears has kept relatively quiet about the romance but previously opened up about how they first started dating after being stuck together while waiting around on a video shoot.

Describing their meeting, she told E! News: “We were forced to talk to each other. He doesn’t really know me as a person, and I have no idea who the hell he is, and we were just talking.”

She continued: “I kept his number, and it was so weird because it was like five months later that I found his number in my bag.

“I was like ‘he was really cute. This guy was really cute’ so then I called him. He is just a really fun, funny person’.”

Brit has been marred twice before — once for just 55 hours to Jason Allen Alexander and a second time to dancer Kevin Federline, with whom she has her sons Sean Preston and Jayden.
