How Lamar finally knew his marriage to Khloé was over
Lamar Odom wanted Khloé Kardashian back until it finally hit home that she’d moved on for good.
“I still got my shorty’s name still on me, her initials still on me,” Odom, 38, told BET’s “The Mancave” in a clip released Wednesday. “But for no reason. You know what I’m saying? I understand when it’s over, it’s over. When she was with her second or third NBA ballplayer, I could see that.”
When asked about Kardashian expecting her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, he was nothing but complimentary.
“I’m happy for her! She took care of me,” he said, referencing his hospitalization after an overdose in October 2015. “She’ll be a good mother, for real. She’s a great woman.”
Kardashian, 33, first filed for divorce from Odom in December 2013 after four years of marriage, but put the proceedings on hold during his recovery.
She refiled in May 2016, with the divorce being finalized in December of that year; Odom checked into rehab the same month, and the exes have remained amicable ever since.
