Blythe Danner approves of Gwyneth’s fiancé

It looks like Brad Falchuk made a good impression on his future mother-in-law.

“Oh, more than approve!” Blythe Danner told ET on Monday when asked her thoughts on Gwyneth Paltrow‘s fiancé. “Yes, I love, love Brad.”

But of course, Danner, 75, played fair and gave a shoutout to her daughter’s ex-husband and her still-pal, Chris Martin, by adding, “I love Chris! Love them all.”

Falchuk, 46, and Paltrow, 45, made their debut as husband-and-wife-to-be on the January cover of her GOOP magazine. She showed off her sapphire engagement ring at the Producers Guild Awards a few weeks later.

And according to Danner, no conversation was necessary before he popped the question.

“He doesn’t need my permission, I really adore him,” Danner said.

The consciously-coupled pair has yet to announce a date.
