Amy Schumer secretly marries chef boyfriend
Amy Schumer is a married woman.
The “Trainwreck” star secretly tied the knot with chef boyfriend Chris Fischer this week, she later confirmed on Instagram. Their surprise ceremony came shortly after Schumer, 36, made her relationship Instagram official, posting a PDA-filled picture from Ellen DeGeneres’ 60th birthday party.
On Thursday, Schumer shared photos of the wedding on social media. In one photo, Fischer appears to be partaking in the Jewish tradition of smashing a glass at the end of the ceremony (Schumer was raised Jewish).
According to The Blast, Schumer and Fischer rented a private home in Malibu to say their vows in front of about 80 people, including Larry David, Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Aniston and David Spade. In one picture Schumer shared, Lawrence is seen giving the bride a kiss on the cheek.
The newlyweds were first linked in November 2017, when Page Six confirmed they dined together at New York City’s Cafe Altro Paradiso.
