Ed Sheeran sparks rumors he married fiancée Cherry Seaborn

Ed Sheeran sparked rumors he’s already married Cherry Seaborn by flashing a ring on his wedding finger during a BRITs gig last night.

The couple may have tied the knot in secret after fans spotted what appeared to be a wedding band on his left hand.

Sheeran, 27, who will be performing at the BRIT Awards Wednesday, got engaged to Cherry over the New Year, and he now seems to be wearing a very telling new piece of jewelry.

The plain gold ring was visible on the third finger of his left hand at his incredible War Child BRITs Week together with O2 gig, prompting speculation he could have already married his fiancée.

The superstar singer has yet to comment on the gossip, but the band could just be a symbol of their engagement.

During the show, Sheeran told the audience about his domestic bliss with Seaborn.

He said: “I find myself getting really excited about kitchen appliances now. I promise this song isn’t about kitchen appliances.”

He added: “I can reveal to you here tonight I’ll be singing ‘Thinking Out Loud’ at the BRITs. I’m excited about wearing [glasses]. Can you believe, I’ve reached a stage in my life where I’m actually excited about my spectacles?”

Celebrity guests including Frankie and Wayne Bridge, Luke Evans, BRIT Award nominee Hayley Squires and Joel Dommett crammed into the sell-out gig to watch the Sheeran deliver an incredible set-list including his number one hit with Beyoncé, “Perfect.”

He brought the house down with his soulful rendition of Nina Simone’s “It’s a New Dawn,” as well as a reggae version of “Shape of You.”

The crowd went wild for “Galway Girl” and “Nancy Mulligan,” in which he put his guitar skills to the test.

He joked: “I wish I had the bravado of Robbie Williams” before puffing out his chest and performing his anthem “Wait for Me to Come Home.”

Sheeran delighted his fans when he announced that he and girlfriend Seaborn got engaged over new year.

Taking to Instagram last month, he posted a picture of himself with his arms around the 25-year-old accountant as he kissed her on the cheek.

He captioned the snap: “Got myself a fiancé [sic] just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx”.

The Suffolk-born pair have been dating since mid 2015, but met years before at at Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham, where Sheeran is believed to have had a crush on his classmate.

Sheeran’s publicist did not respond to a request for comment.
