Jennifer Lopez isn’t pushing A-Rod toward marriage
It appears Jennifer Lopez hasn’t ruled out a fourth trip to the altar.
“I do believe in marriage,” the pop diva said in the April 2018 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, but Lopez, who was previously married to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony, isn’t pushing boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, to put a ring on it anytime soon.
“I would love to grow old with somebody in a committed relationship. But I’m not forcing anything right now,” Lopez said. “It’s good, it’s healthy; we communicate well. We understand each other’s lives in a way that most other people couldn’t.
“We both entered the public eye in our early 20s and overachieved right from the start. And that affects every dynamic in your life, from your family to your work to your relationships. We have a similar makeup,” she continued.
The couple, who first went public last March, has created something of a modern-day Brady bunch, as Lopez shares 10-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with ex-husband Anthony, 49, while Rodriguez, 42, has daughters Ella, 9, and Natasha, 14, with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
“My life is full of loving and joyful people, and my workplace is filled with adventure,” Lopez shared.
As for her adventures with Rodriguez, staying in and working out are among their favorite past times.
“He and his friends laugh at me, but in my head I really believe I can,” Lopez shared of beating Rodriguez in runs. The “Shades of Blue” star also noted how the former Yankees’ slugger has the edge where athletic analogies are concerned.
“He sports-metaphors me to death, and now I do it to everyone else,” Lopez said.
“Baseball is just like life,” she added. “All you want to do is hit a home run.”
