Carrie Underwood says she is healing following her nasty fall five months ago.

“Physically, I’m doing pretty darn good these days,” Underwood, 35, wrote on her blog on Tuesday. “My wrist is almost back to normal, about 90 percent there … and the docs say that last 10 percent will come in time. And my face has been healing pretty nicely as well. I definitely feel more like myself than I have in a while.”

In November, the “Before He Cheats” singer took a tumble that landed her in the hospital with a broken wrist and injuries to her face that required 40 stitches.

She previously warned fans that she “might look a little different” after her accident, but so far no one has been able to see anything but her normal, gorgeous mug.

The “American Idol” alum recently showed her full face in an Instagram snap from rehearsals — the first time she’s done so since her fall. Underwood will make her public comeback at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday.

Though she’s eager to get back onstage, Underwood, who’s releasing her comeback single “Cry Pretty” on Wednesday, admitted that she’s enjoyed her time out of the spotlight.

“One of the silver linings for me in this healing process is the time I’ve gotten to spend with [husband] Mike [Fisher] and [son] Isaiah. I’ve been calling it ‘forced relaxation,'” she wrote. “Sometimes I think things happen in order to make us slow down.”
