Victoria Beckham probably isn’t designing Meghan Markle’s wedding dress
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s much-anticipated wedding may be a mere month away, but it is still unclear what the soon-to-be-royal will be wearing on her big day.
One name that can probably be crossed off the list of contenders? Victoria Beckham, who insisted to James Corden on Thursday night’s “The Late Late Show” that she’s “sadly not” dressing Markle, 36, for her walk down the aisle. “Maybe you know something that I don’t,” she joked. “I’m not doing the dress. I’m not … I’m sure she’ll look incredible in whatever she wears.”
This news pushes fellow frontrunners like Ralph & Russo, Alexander McQueen, Erdem, and Roland Mouret forward.
Corden then asked if the British designer and her husband, footballer David Beckham, would at least be in attendance when Markle and Prince Harry tie the knot on May 19th. “I don’t know!” Beckham stammered. “You’re totally going,” Corden replied. “That is the biggest yes I’ve ever heard in my life!”
However, back in 2011, McQueen’s Sarah Burton similarly denied claims she was creating Kate Middleton‘s dress up until the big day.
