Frustrated Rihanna fans wait hours to shop star’s new lingerie line

Want to shop Rihanna‘s much-anticipated new Savage x Fenty lingerie? To quote the singer herself, you’ll have to wait your turn — and it might be a while.

When the line went on sale early Friday, fans swarmed the site, eager to fill their carts with the collection’s size-inclusive bras, undies and sleepwear. Unfortunately, many shoppers were immediately placed in an automated queue, with some facing hourlong waits to simply browse the inventory. S.O.S., indeed!

Once shoppers eventually made it through to the main page, they faced frequent glitches, including random reloads that kicked them off the site and back into the queue.

And for those fortunate enough to make it to checkout, yet another unpleasant surprise lay in store: Certain Savage x Fenty items (marked “Xclusive”) are only available to those willing to pay an additional $50 membership fee.

Despite these difficulties, many fans were clearly willing to work for their lingerie: As of press time, many items were already sold out, including almost all of the larger sizes.
