Meghan Markle’s mom is having tea with the Queen
It’s meet the royal in-laws.
Meaghan Markle’s mom got a visit Thursday at Kensington Palace by her future in-laws, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, who arrived bearing a large bouquet of white flowers, the Daily Mail reported.
The 61-year-old yoga teacher and social worker is expected to be meeting the 92-year-old monarch at Windsor Castle for tea on Friday.
Queen Elizabeth II already gave the formal OK for Prince Harry, 32, to marry the 36-year-old former “Suits” star at a May 19th ceremony at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
The couple was pictured heading to the venue to rehearse their “I Do’s” Thursday.
Markle’s dad was supposed to be in London this week to meet Harry’s family but had to bow out after undergoing heart surgery. He was also at the center of an embarrassing staged photo debacle earlier in the week.
The mother of the bride is expected to have an important role during the ceremony and it is thought she’ll ride with Meghan in the car to St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, according to the Mail.
Markle and her mom will spend the night before the wedding at Cliveden House, an Italian-style mansion that became a luxury hotel in 1985, where rooms can cost up to $2,000 a night.
