Prince Harry and Meghan Markle head to wedding rehearsals
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived at Windsor Castle Thursday for wedding rehearsals two days ahead of their big day.
The soon-to-be royal newlyweds were pictured being driven from Kensington Palace in a black SUV, with Markle, 36, fiddling with her engagement ring, wearing a simple white shirt and sparkling diamond earrings.
Prince Harry, 32, sat by her side and donned a low-key grey sweater for the occasion. The couple is set to be married on Saturday.
Prince Harry’s brother Prince William and his wife Kate were also pictured arriving at Windsor Castle for the rehearsal, with the future King behind the wheel.
Seemingly absent was the mother-of-the-bride, Doria Ragland, who arrived in London Wednesday to help with preparations.
As the bride and groom practiced their ‘I Do’s’ behind closed doors in St. George’s chapel, the military rehearsed their procession for the big day through the town, the Telegraph UK reported.
Some 250 members of the armed forces are expected to take part in the festivities.
Earlier Thursday, Markle released a statement confirming her dad, Thomas Markle wouldn’t be at the Saturday ceremony to walk her down the aisle, after undergoing heart surgery.
“Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding. I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health,” Markle said.
