Floyd Mayweather gifts teen daughter enormous 30-carat diamond ring
Floyd Mayweather may be the best at giving gifts.
The flashy boxer, 41, gifted his daughter Iyanna Mayweather a massive 30-carat diamond ring for her 18th birthday, Page Six has learned.
“The center is an 18-carat canary yellow [diamond],” said the president of Pristine Jewelers and creator of the sparkler. “It’s mounted in platinum. Each stone around is a carat and a half. There’s eight of them.”
That brings the total number of carats to 30.
Jeweler-to-the-stars Avi, who said the athlete visits his shop in New York’s Diamond District around once a month, placed his order in early May.
In all, Avi says it took two-and-a-half weeks to create.
“Canary diamonds are a little bit more expensive,” Avi explained. “So, he wanted something different because she has a lot of white diamond rings. He wanted something to pop out and stand out.”
When asked about the price, Avi declined to give a specific figure but said the cost falls in the “high six-figure” range.
Mayweather didn’t return to the shop to pick up the gift; we’re told it was sent out in time for his daughter’s birthday.
Iyanna took to Instagram on Sunday to show off the ring, saying, “I just can’t stop staring at it.”
