Kim Kardashian has ‘moved on’ from taking selfies
Reality-TV queen Kim Kardashian is swearing off selfies.
“I don’t take selfies anymore. I don’t really like them,” Kardashian, 37, claimed in an interview with This Morning UK aired on Friday.
“I just, like, kind of moved on, it’s not all about sitting there and taking selfies,” she claimed. “I just would like to live in real time a little more.”
The socialite, who has 113 million Instagram followers — apparently eager to ogle the seemingly unending and shameless array of photos she posts– explained that she’s just not on her phone as much as she used to be.
On Thursday, Kardashian seemed oblivious to her own newfound mantra, posting a snap of herself taking a selfie on Instagram, gleefully captioned: “How to take the perfect selfie. Happy National Selfie Day.”
And two days before the interview aired, she certainly seemed eager to strike a pose, getting down on her knees in her closet, wearing only a bra and underwear to let the world know she was “packing.”
The last selfie posted on her Instagram dates back to Saturday, and is a snap of herself in a white bathrobe, eyes closed, and glossy, pouty lips — next to her son, Saint West.
It’s possible the photo was taken earlier, as it is captioned, “Missing my boo…”
Kardashian famously came out with “Selfish,” a coffee-table book made up of her personal selfies in 2015.
She took her first selfie in 1984, she once claimed to Adweek. She would have been four years old at the time.
