David Mueller, the DJ who groped Taylor Swift, says he’s scared to approach women after the trauma of the singer taking him to trial.

“Now I’m afraid to even talk to women,” Mueller lamented to Radar Online in an interview released Wednesday. “I feel like I’m in a prison. I’m not myself anymore. I don’t even go near women.”

Mueller was fired from his $150,000-a-year job at Denver’s KYGO FM after a 2013 incident in which he was accused of putting his hand up Swift’s skirt and groping her buttocks while they posed for a photo together during a meet and greet event.

He sued Swift over his termination and the subsequent damage to his reputation; in August 2017, a Denver jury determined the DJ groped the “Reputation” singer, leaving her within her rights to contact his supervisor.

Swift, 28, countersued Mueller for assault and battery, winning a symbolic $1 judgment against him — which he claimed to have paid with a Sacagawea coin.

When asked what he would say to Swift today, Mueller fumed, “‘How can you live with yourself? You ruined my life.'”

Mueller, who was hired at a Greenwood, Miss., radio station after the trial, maintains his innocence in the case.

“I was not ready for the photograph,” he said. “I admit it was awkward, but I never grabbed her. It’s not even close to what happened … I know that if I didn’t do it I would have never been able to live with myself. At least now that my life is totally screwed up I’m proud of myself.”
