Cardi B learns that parenthood is a ‘full day, all day, all night’ job

Motherhood is a full-time job, says new mom Cardi B.

The 25-year-old rap star, who gave birth to daughter Kulture on July 11, gave her first thoughts on caring for her new baby.

“Thank you to family and friends that’s been hitting me up, checking on me,” she captioned a parody video of her and husband Offset in their first days as new parents. “It’s been a little hard for me to reply back cause this mommy job requires full day, all day, all night attention.”

She went on to thank her fans for their continued support and she promised to post more often.

She’s also expressed her desire for peace and quiet with baby Kulture around.

“When parents say, ‘If you wake the baby up you putting her back to sleep,’ I feel that,” she tweeted over the weekend.

Despite getting adjusted to caring for a newborn, Cardi B can’t stop gushing over her bundle of joy.

“I still can’t believe it, all mines … Beautiful,” she tweeted.

Her time to bond with baby Kutlure without work obligations will be short lived. Cardi B will hit the road with Bruno Mars beginning September 7.
