Ariana Grande reacts to Mac Miller’s death with emotional video
Ariana Grande has broken her silence about Mac Miller‘s death.
“i adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will. i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore,” she captioned a video of Miller, who is seen telling her a story as he laughs and smiles.
Grande, who dated the late 26-year-old rapper for two years, seemingly addressed his struggles with substance abuse, continuing, “I really can’t wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times. i’m so mad, i’m so sad i don’t know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else.
“i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you’re okay now. rest.”
Miller died last Friday of an apparent drug overdose. A few days after the news broke, Grande paid tribute to him with a touching photo she took; however, she didn’t caption it.
An autopsy has been completed, but the cause of death won’t be released until the coroner receives the toxicology results.
