Teen suspected in Rihanna, Robert Woods and Christina Milian burglaries
A teenager busted for allegedly breaking into the home of Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Robert Woods and stealing the NFL star’s belongings is also suspected of targeting singers Rihanna and Christina Milian and baseball star Yasiel Puig.
Tyress Williams was arrested last Friday near Woods’ abode in San Fernando Valley, a source familiar with the investigation told the Los Angeles Times.
Cops pulled the 19-year-old over and allegedly discovered things stolen from Williams’ home in his car.
They searched the vehicle and turned up other belongings allegedly taken from the homes of Rihanna, Milian and Puig, who plays right field for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Woods’ home was burglarized Thursday night during Rams’ 38-31 win over the Minnesota Vikings.
Puig has seen his home broken into four times — twice in the last two months — and cops said Williams was caught on video kicking in his front door, sources told TMZ.
Investigators believe the teen is deliberately targeting athletes’ home when he knows they’ll be away.
Milian’s house, meanwhile, was broken into twice in four days.
The San Fernando Valley area has seen a number of celebrity break-ins this year.
Rappers Wiz Khalifa and Post Malone have also been victims, the Times reported.
Williams was formally booked after midnight and held on suspicion of residential burglary charges.
It’s unclear whether he’s responsible for all of the break-ins.
Police plan to hold a press conference about his arrest later Tuesday.
