Bruno Mars ‘hires’ Ed Sheeran to sing ‘Happy Birthday’

Bruno Mars celebrated his 33rd birthday on Sunday and his choice in music made his day extra special.

In a backstage video from the his “24K Magic” tour stop in Nashville, Mars enjoyed cupcakes while Ed Sheeran serenaded him with his own rendition of “Happy Birthday.”

Mars, whose actual birthday was Monday, October 8, captioned the quirky video, “You know you’ve made it when you can hire Ed Sheeran to sing you Happy Birthday! #ExtraForever! #HappyBrunoMarsDay!”

It’s no secret Mars and Sheeran, 27, are good pals.

In August, Sheeran gushed over his bromance with the “Treasure” singer and even hinted at a future collaboration.
